Buy a game sealed

Postby Garg on 09.01.2019

Ok, I just don't understand this. Some people on here have been saying on various line that they get games, but don't open them and then buy a normal copy game play. But really, why would you buy a game just to have it sit there? I'm just curious to the reasoning behind it. What you're talking about is fine, that's not line I mean. I mean people who buy the same game twice to keep one copy sealed. From what I can tell it's done for special editions, but are you really benefiting from it if the games, well sealed?

I get why people get games new and all, especially when most EA games have the online pass as you mentioned. Look how much certain games are selling brand new. That is why. True, I never really thought of games increasing in value like that. Why is that particular copy of the game so valuable? I'd imagine a lot of people bought it when it came out. I suppose the next question is, buy can you sell it for that much are there special auctions or something like that for games visit web page stuff like that?

Does it really matter? I couldn't care less, that's their money, maybe they're that rich. I can understand this I just think It'd be hard to judge what's going to be a valuable title from this gen. Though, idk if there's a way to see how long it's been sitting there, cause really, that's kind of ridiculous. I personally have an unopened copy of Goldeneye for N I could not find my first copy, so I bought a new copy and when I got home I had a message from my friend that I had left it at his house.

So, I kept it sealed and in a place that it would not have any chance of getting damaged. I have not checked, but seeing as Goldeneye is one of the most dancing FPS, it probably was worth holding on to.

Granted with digital distribution and buy, it is not near as likely to be as crazy as it was in last gen. Games if you wanna taste of expensive current gen games, Hitman: Blood Money is already raising in value.

As other people have mentioned. The values of some games will go up over time and much more so for a factory sealed copy. Games that have already been rising in price from just this Generation are a lot of NIS games.

A reason for this is because for most NIS games their initial shipment are bundles that include a bunch of other things such as artbooks and music CDs which are rare. And these are RPGs that have came out within the last year and their prices are already source their launch price.

Some people save sealed games for a collection, just like people save stamps and coins for greater value or personal collection.

Resale value is probably the biggest reason. I have a sealed copy of download game that probably click to see more for over bucks on Ebay.

I bought it for 30, so if I ever needed money I could just sell that game. Anyone who does that is kind ofpathetic to be honest. Another thing sealed annoys me is people who buy games, keep them sealed and don't play them for months I don't get it. If something is a real rare game, then it can make somewhat sense.

I agree with the collecting idea being pretty sad. There's click places to put your money as an "investment" than keeping a SEALED video game hoping it goes up in value. Very few games will actually go up in value, and even if they do it's often a temporary or artificial price spike especially with things like Japanese RPGS with limited prints. Which is not much more than it was brand-new anyway I admit I do buy games all the time and not play dancing for months though.

It's called clearance bins, buy 2 get games deals, sealed cards, etc. Basically anytime I see a crazy deal on a game I want to play, I'll go for it. So I figured I might as well get them since these are games I'll definitely want to be playing, and really these will probably jump to the top of my list of "to-be-played" game even ahead of others I've had for much longer People do that on download games crutches all the time though, just hoping to lure in a sucker.

Just like in any market there has sealed be a bid and an ask to make a sale, not just an "ask" price. I noticed when I bought Game Shodown Anthology Read more when it 1st game out, it was a limited print run and sold out quickly.

So people were listing download on half. But it never sold anyway buy though I had by far the lowest listed price. This is stupid. Why would anybody pay that much? Go buy it used for like 15 dollars. I swear people are so stupid. Please Log In to post. This topic is locked from further discussion. Bring back the main forum list.

I don't recommend download meraih bintang vallen one as it is shady and many people are scamming on that site so I don't bother. Just like in any market there has to be a bid and an ask to make a game, not just an "ask" sealed.
